About the Grant:
NSGP provides funds to nonprofit organizations at high risk of terrorist/extremist attack for facility hardening, security equipment, cybersecurity, planning, training, and exercises. Applications are submitted through the State Administrative Agency (SAA); nonprofits must meet risk criteria and provide vulnerability assessments and IJs. The FEMA NOFO deadline (08/11/2025) is for SAA submissions; nonprofit sub-application deadlines are earlier and set by the SAA (California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services). NSGP applies in the Los Angeles UASI region and statewide; LA County nonprofits may apply under UASI (NSGP-UA) if in the designated area or NSGP-S if outside.
