About the Grant:
Supports the readiness and operations of FEMA’s 28 National Urban Search & Rescue (US&R) task forces, including training, equipment, response support, and administration. Eligible applicants are designated task force sponsoring agencies; awards are cooperative agreements with defined performance and reporting. This is applicable to the LA region to the extent a local sponsoring agency participates in the national US&R system; however, eligibility is limited to designated task forces, not general applicants.
