About the Grant:

Program hub for RMC’s competitive grants that preserve open space and habitat, expand public access, and build climate-resilient communities within its territory (eastern LA County/western Orange County, including the San Gabriel Mountains & River and Lower LA River corridor). Eligible applicants include public agencies, nonprofits, tribes, and JPAs. Project types span planning and implementation for acquisition, restoration, multi-benefit green infrastructure, trails, river access, urban greening, and wildfire prevention/forest health. Preference typically for disadvantaged/park-poor communities and projects with match/leveraging. Awards are board-approved and typically reimbursement-based with standard state compliance (CEQA, Corps consultation/CCC engagement as applicable). Because this is a multi-opportunity program page, applicants must reference current PSNs for deadlines, scoring, caps, and documentation. LA County entities are directly eligible for projects within RMC boundaries.

Key Dates, Deadlines, and Events:

Deadlines vary by PSN; treat as ongoing with periodic windows.
