About the Grant:
The Small Storage Program provides federal funding for smaller water storage projects under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Eligible projects must store between 200 and 30,000 acre-feet and are intended to improve water supply reliability, operational flexibility, and infrastructure resilience in the western states, Alaska, and Hawaii. To apply, non-federal project sponsors must first submit a feasibility study that Reclamation approves under its required review process.
