Infrastructure LA Committee’s Role in Our Communities
The Infrastructure LA Committees serve as the backbone of regional coordination efforts across Los Angeles County, ensuring that infrastructure planning is strategic, equitable, and aligned with long-term sustainability goals. Each committee focuses on a key sector critical to the region’s future—working collaboratively to drive innovation, maximize funding opportunities, and deliver multi-benefit projects that serve all communities, especially those historically underserved.
Sustainable Waste and Recycling Management Committee
The Sustainable Waste and Recycling Management Committee brings together agencies and experts committed to reducing landfill reliance, increasing diversion rates, and advancing circular economy practices. This committee helps develop coordinated strategies for waste reduction and recycling infrastructure that meets state mandates while protecting community health.
Water Committee
The Water Committee focuses on regional water supply, stormwater capture, treatment systems, and watershed health. By aligning projects with Measure W and other funding sources, the committee supports the development of sustainable, resilient water infrastructure that improves quality, access, and climate readiness across Los Angeles.
Transportation Committee
The Transportation Committee plays a critical role in supporting multimodal infrastructure planning, including roads, public transit, bike and pedestrian improvements, and traffic management systems. Environmental Sustainability & Resiliency Committee

Construction Committee
