California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW)

United States Department of Transportation

Total Grant Value:

Not specified

Individual Grant Award Maximum:

No universal maximum; depends on funding source/program.

About the Grant:

CDFW accepts concept proposals on an ongoing basis for multiple restoration grant programs (e.g., Prop 1, Prop 68, Southern Steelhead, Rivers and Streams). Applicants submit a single concept through WebGrants; CDFW reviews and invites full applications as appropriate. Eligible applicants include public agencies, tribes, nonprofits, and qualified mutual water companies. Projects can include habitat restoration, fish passage, water quality improvements, planning/design, acquisition, and community stewardship. LA County watershed and habitat projects are eligible when they meet program priorities and regional ecological objectives. Because this is a program gateway rather than a single NOFO, applicants must consult the current “Call for Concepts” and individual program solicitations for specific requirements, budgets, and timelines.

Key Dates, Deadlines, and Events:

Ongoing concept intake; invited applicants receive timelines for full proposals.

Submission Due Date:

Ongoing

Funds Allocated to LA County Locations

No specifically specified LAC funding.
