Administered by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife's Office of Spill Prevention and Response, the Environmental Enhancement Fund (EEF) Grant Program has available funding totaling $5,000,000. They are seeking grant applications until September 11, 2024. The EEF will fund environmental enhancement projects located within or immediately adjacent to the waters of the state. Enhancement projects include acquiring habitat for preservation, improving habitat quality and ecosystem above baseline conditions, and more.
