About the Grant:
The U.S. Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) published a NOFO for the Marine Debris Removal program. $47 million in funding is available for developing and implementing marine debris assessment, removal, and prevention projects that benefit coastal habitats, waterways, and marine resources. A Letter of Intent is due by September 27th. NOAA will invite applicants to apply for funding by January 31st.
