There are three types of grants within the Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling (SWIFR) program, which are designed to fund a range of projects that will enable EPA to help states, territories, Tribes, local governments, and communities improve and transform their recycling and materials management infrastructure: 1. SWIFR Grants for States and Territories 2. SWIFR Grants for Tribes and Intertribal Consortia 3. SWIFR Grants for Political Subdivisions
